The Abu Dhabi Center for the Arabic Language of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi revealed, during a press conference held at the Cultural Complex yesterday, the agenda of the activities of the 31st edition of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, which will be held from 23 to 29 May at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC). . The vision of Sheikh Zayed
Dr. Ali bin Tamim said: “The Abu Dhabi International Book Fair embodies the vision of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may his soul rest in peace, who believed that building and advancing society begins with the individual by strengthening his knowledge and knowledge, refining his capabilities and his cultural and creative inventory. For his part, Jürgen Bose, Director of the Frankfurt International Book Fair, in his speech via video, praised the importance of hosting the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, as it represents a weight in the publishing industry, Germany as a guest of honor, embodying the strong cultural ties between the UAE and Germany. Bose indicated that Germany will participate in the exhibition with more than 40 events, and German writers and writers will participate in workshops for schools and children daily.

This year, the exhibition will hold the first session of the “International Conference on Arab Publishing and Creative Industries”, the first of its kind in the Arab world, which discusses the latest trends in the field of publishing. The exhibition also highlights digital publishing and its importance through a dedicated corner. The exhibition includes sessions of the “Educational Program” that targets students of different ages and grades, which, through many dialogue sessions and workshops, will provide them with a set of inspiring models related to the best academic practices, in order to push them towards upgrading their creative abilities, and help them build their intellectual and cognitive capabilities about Many important topics.
